Senior Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain, examine, and analyze financial records and transactions in accordance with accounting principles and business procedures

Prepare and complete journal entries and financial transactions to the general ledger and ensure the general ledger is accurately updated

Create and present reports to senior management, internal and external auditors, and the accounting and finance team

Managing and maintaining a companys fixed assets, such as buildings, equipment, and machinery, and ensuring that these assets are accurately accounted for in the companys financial records.

Ensures all processes are accurately documented and recommends and implements process improvements to improve effectiveness and workflow

Manages month end closing process

Position Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred or relevant

experience

At least ten (10) years experience in an accounting or finance role required

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
