Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Business Development

  • Identify, target, and develop new customer relationships through outbound calls, messaging, and in-person meetings
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities

Negotiation & Deal Execution

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers & carriers

  • Execute profitable deals while building long-term partnerships

Sales Performance

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and revenue targets

  • Grow and manage a book of business in a competitive market

Market Awareness

  • Stay informed on market trends, lane activity, capacity, and pricing

  • Leverage market knowledge to maximize profitability

Collaboration

  • Partner with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Contribute insights to support overall business growth

Freight & Service Offerings

  • General Freight (Dry Van, Flatbed, Reefer)

  • LTL

  • Sprinter Vans & Box Trucks

  • Hazmat

  • Over-Dimensional Freight

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales preferred
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM and/or TMS platforms

  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a team environment

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

  • Commission based on monthly Gross Profit

  • Salary paid weekly

  • Commission paid monthly
