About the job Platform Engineer (RedHat OpenShift)
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
Work Model: Hybrid (Lisbon)
DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:
As a RedHat OpenShift Platform Engineer at Top Sigma, you will:
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Manage microservices traffic control through Istio.
- Support and maintain VMware environments.
- Set up and manage monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Basic understanding of networking and Java.
- Familiarity with VMware, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Istio, and Helm.
- Availability for occasional travel to France.
- Very comfortable with English and having conversations with C-Level from the client side.
- Red Hat certifications (RHCE/RHCA) are a plus.
- Certifications in Cloud technologies or DevOps practices (nice to have).
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model at the Lisbon office.
