To support this growth, the company is seeking a Proposal Engineer to join its team in Zeewolde, The Netherlands.

Your Role

The Proposal Engineer plays a key role in connecting clients, the technical development team, and the sales department. This position is responsible for translating the technical capabilities of Econowinds products into customized solutions for customers, ensuring alignment between client needs and product offerings. Acting as the technical support specialist within the sales team, the Proposal Engineer bridges the gap between engineering and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Advisory: Present technical solutions and advise clients on Econowinds wind-assisted propulsion systems.
• Sales Support: Assist Sales Managers throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to aftersales support.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure that customer requirements align with product development.
• Client Consultation: Address technical inquiries regarding the installation and integration of Econowinds wingsails on various vessels.

What They're Looking For

• Educational Background: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Maritime Technology or Maritime Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Preferably, experience in 3D CAD design using software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Rhino.
• Industry Passion: A strong interest in sustainable technology and innovation within the maritime sector.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to translate technical challenges into clear, client-friendly solutions.
