The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Cyber Supervisory Financial Specialist, GG-0501-13 located Financial Management Branch, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

In this position, you will manage/supervise a team of analysts that develop and sustain unique cyber weapon systems. Supervisor will continuously monitor employee workload and distribution of responsibilities. Mentor and develop employees. Review/submit budget documents, train employees when necessary, provide decision support on fiscal policy and procedures to Branch Chief/Materiel Leader, and plan/program for Future Years.

  • US citizenship is required
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Must sign a non-disclosure agreement
  • This is a designated drug testing position
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field or the equivalent is highly desirable. Graduate work or an advanced degree in a business-related field is desirable
  • Mastery of all aspects of financial management related to acquisition funding, budget formulation/development/execution, cost estimating/scheduling, and associated cost analysis involved in complex, high-risk programs related to the development, acquisition, and sustainment of electronic and aeronautical weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Ability to develop, manage, control, and evaluate financial management, budgeting, and costing methods, practices, processes, and related automated systems.
  • Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
  • Expert knowledge of agency and DoD budget execution policies and procedures in order to recommend to DoD, OMB, and/or Congress requests for reapportionments, supplemental appropriations, deferrals, and rescissions of funds

Desired Experience: Weapons system acquisition background, obligation and expenditure reconciliation, J-Books, PPBE, end of year closeout, decision support, supervisory/management, APDP BUS-FM Practitioner
