About the job F-16 Sr. FMS Systems Integrity Engineer for Special Access Programs (SAP)
Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of aircraft-level system integrity plans, programs, and capabilities for complex FMS F-16 avionics systems and subsystems. Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface)
- Support the definition of all system integrity technical program tasks to be accomplished.
- Support the development of system integrity tasks for inclusion in the overall program schedule. Support the development and implementation of system integrity ground and flight test verification plans.
- Support the development of aircraft-level Security Classification Guides. Support and assist to monitor development and implementation of aircraft-level Anti-Tamper, Information Assurance, and Systems Integrity Programs.
- Support the development and implementation of aircraft-level system integrity plans, programs, and capabilities for complex F-16 avionics systems.
- Support and monitor development and implementation of aircraft-level AT programs and system integrity programs.
Required Skills/Education: In order to fill this engineering position, the candidate must have successfully earned an engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, systems, aerospace, etc.) Degrees in technical engineering are not considered to be qualifying for this position. Copies of degrees will be required.
Recommend over ten years of DoD acquisition program office experience. Recommend expertise in implementing U.S. military aircraft system integrity programs. Recommend expertise in implementing U.S. military aircraft AT programs. Recommend expertise in implementing U.S. military aircraft Information Assurance (IA) and SWA programs. Required to possess and maintain a current Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Recommend electrical engineer, software engineer, aerospace engineer; etc. Recommend experience with implementing U.S. military aircraft system integrity, Anti-Tamper, Information Assurance, or Software Assurance Programs.
Travel: Yes -- CONUS and OCONUS -- must be a USA passport holder
