- The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time Management Analyst (GS-0343-12), to perform as a Cyberspace Strategic Analyst, working at Headquarters (HQ) NORAD/USNORTHCOM (N&NC), on Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Salary ($89,128 - $115,863) based on experience.
- This position is eligible for Situational Telework and may be terminated at the discretion of the supervisor or at the employee’s request.

- Qualifications/Requirements: In this position you will serve as cyberspace strategist and consultant for the Director, Cyberspace Operations, HQ N&NC in support of National, Department of Defense, and organizational Cyberspace strategies, policies and plans.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret/SCI” Security clearance.
- This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position
- The incumbent is required to achieve both the foundational and resident qualification requirements outlined for each defense cyber work role at the assigned proficiency levels. Foundational qualification within 9 months of assignment; resident qualification within 12 months of assignment.
- Knowledge of a range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to participate in the assessment and improvement of Cyberspace command level plans and programs for conducting major operations.
- Knowledge of the organization’s policy and planning formulation process along with its missions and objectives to prepare Cyberspace polices and plans.
- Knowledge of budgetary processes, cost-benefit analysis methods, and analysis of performance data to prepare persuasive budget recommendations in support of Cyberspace requirements.
- Knowledge of a wide range of cyberspace, information technology, and telecommunications theories, concepts, principles, and practices, procedures, policies, standards, operational requirements; and of operational and performance characteristics of cyberspace to develop procedures/policies/ practices for command use.
- Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, review/revise/develop policy, initiate plans for enhancements, and provide management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgments.
- Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of Cyber threats and Cyber operations and predict how management can meet future requirements.
