The S1/7 Division is seeking a Management and Program Analyst (Training), GG-0343-07 target GG-12. **This is not a remote position, however, position is eligible for telework** Description: Serves as a focal point for all education, training and development actions under the incumbent’s assigned area. Advises all managers as well as group Center/Squadron level staff in assigned area on education, training and development matters. As NSIC Education Development Specialist, manages NSIC’s Learning Management System (LMS) and collaborates with servicing Education Office and NSIC managers to create workforce development strategies and identify problem areas. Daily tasks include monitoring and managing the Center’s Training Program, conducting training courses, and analyzing potential training to meet workforce needs. Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge of in Education and Training Management Systems (ETMS), MyBiz/Workspace and BlackBoard Learning Management System
  • Knowledge of Air Force or DOD mission and functions, and organizational structures, resources requirements processes
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly comprehend Education, Training and Development principles, policies and practices.
  • Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing facts; drawing conclusions; devising solutions to problems; identifying changes and trends; and preparing and presenting briefing and reports. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of United States Space Force, Department of Air Force, or DOD mission and functions, and organizational structures, resources requirements processes is highly desired. 2. Knowledge of or ability to quickly comprehend Education, Training and Development principles, policies and practices. 3. Ability and skill using personal computer (PC) to operate data base management systems, requirements analysis, and data manipulation and extraction techniques. 4. Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing facts; drawing conclusions; devising solutions to problems; identifying changes and trends; and preparing and presenting briefing and reports. 5. Ability to carry out and complete assignments involving work with diverse and dynamic groups by gaining cooperation with tact, courtesy and diplomacy and moving them towards an ownership of their objective without imposing personal bias. 6. Ability to maintain effective relationships with management officials, supervisors, employees, coworkers, and others to ensure cooperative resolution of problems and provide effective coordination of activities. Experienced, confident communicator with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing. Requirements: 1. Must be a U.S Citizen. 2. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. 3. May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments. 4. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. 5. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
