Anglicotech is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. You will provide a broad spectrum of support that enables the Joint Staff J6 CIO to provide expertise in supporting the Chairman’s core responsibilities and advancing C4/Cyber across all domains to enable a globally integrated Combined/Joint Force.


Location: This position is located onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA


Responsibilities:


  • Develop/Define/Implement Cybersecurity requirements for specific information assurance certification or accreditation procedures and processes on WMA-AFIP development, pre-production, and production servers and databases.
  • Use various scanning tools to conduct vulnerability assessments, developing and presenting technical information to non-technical audiences and clients.
  • Provide knowledge and experience on computer networking and network-based information assurance devices.
  • Provide technical and analytical expertise and coordinate with other Joint Staff directorates, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), combatant commands, services, and external agencies formal coordination of strategic and operational plans, concepts, orders, analytical products, requests for information and other staff actions.
  • Assist the J6 in preparing the Joint Staff to integrate cross-CCMDs requirements and plans in multiple forums to enhance the defense of the DoD Information Network, coalition partnering (as possible), information sharing requirements, architectures, and network connections.
  • Support forums include but are not limited to Joint staff cross-functional teams, strategic integration framework teams, High-performance team sessions, and other venues.
  • Technical analysis of potential material and non-material solutions (including policy, procedural, or training solutions)
  • Provide comments and recommendations to action officers for consideration


Required Qualifications:

Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship required
  • TS/SCI at start (SSBI/SBPR/PPR investigation)


Education and Experience:

  • BS (Masters preferred) in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or Information Assurance in a DoD environment
  • Strong military operational background and experience
  • Requires DoD 8570 IAM level III CompTIA CISSP or CISM

  • Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • JCIDS experience
  • DAU training
  • Experience and understanding of DoD CIO and Joint Staff Publications: DoDI 8523.01, CJCSI 5116.05A, CJCSI 6510.02F CJCSI 6510.06D, and CJCSM 3105.01B
