Job Description
Overview: Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting government contracts by developing and maintaining program and project schedules. As a Program Scheduler/Senior Program Scheduler, you will create a unified, integrated framework for detailing, analyzing, tracking, and reporting data from individual program schedules using Microsoft Project Server. This role empowers leadership with real-time reporting and analysis products for cross-program coordination and strategic decision-making.
Security Clearance Requirements
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Responsibilities
Create and implement the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Framework.Develop and maintain user-level guidance and templates. Coordinate and create schedule inputs adhering to IMS templates. Perform reviews and analysis of IMS data, and conduct Lessons Learned for process improvement. Identify areas of integration risk and recommend mitigation strategies. Provide schedule coaching. Create custom views, reports, and dashboards. Coordinate the creation of cross-dependencies between program schedules (threads). Guide, train, practice, and support integrated master schedule best practices. Support Program Executive Offices (PEO) and other agency initiatives with developing their acquisition program schedules, including identifying and analyzing schedule data. Establish methods, processes, and procedures for communicating scheduling tasks across programs. Support customer awareness activities and develop/update user guides and Planning/Scheduling Services documentation as required. Provide enterprise-level scheduling support to the user community. Provide selected direct scheduling support to identified users as directed by the government. Capture, track, and manage customer requests for service using an approved tool such as JIRA. Produce bi-weekly reports detailing activities of interest, planned activities, and any issues or concerns for government awareness.
Qualifications
Program Scheduler:
High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience, ORBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of fifteen (15) years of general systems engineering experience, OR Master’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of thirteen (13) years of general systems engineering experience.
Senior Program Scheduler
High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience, ORBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of twenty (20) years of general systems engineering experience, OR Master’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of eighteen (18) years of general systems engineering experience.
Skills And Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Project Server.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-user environment. Experience with JIRA or similar tools for tracking and managing customer requests.
