We are hiring a full-time Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) Cyber Warfare Directorate. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of a high-profile DoD program with Congressional mandates for the national security of DoD systems.  Our ideal candidate will have experience in collaborating on requirements with Cyber Security peers and government counterparts. This is an extraordinary opportunity to add to your own toolkit by joining a team of cyber professionals with deep and multi-faceted expertise.

 

  • Examines data flows, analyzing network behavioral patterns and using enterprise tools to expose internal/external movements.
  • Uses current threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and attack frameworks to evaluate system weaknesses that may compromise a mission under assessment.
  • Apply a wide range of threat intelligence analytic skills to monitor, assess, and report on steady state operations and planning requirements.
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplined, cross-functional cybersecurity and intelligence teams.
  • Create clear, concise, and actionable intelligence reports for government leadership and mission partners. These reports often include assessments, recommendations, and potential implications.
  • Gather information from various sources, such as open-source data, classified materials, human intelligence, signals intelligence, and more.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal standards when conducting intelligence research, especially when handling sensitive or classified information.
  • Contributes technical expertise to writing of findings reports.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support specific projects.

 

Education/Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Dept. of Defense Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university AND a total of 4+ years experience in the following areas combined: penetration testing, threat hunting, and forensic analysis. 

OR an Associate's degree from an accredited university AND a total of 6+ years experience in the following areas combined: penetration testing, threat hunting, and forensic analysis. 

OR a High School Diploma AND a total of 8+ years experience in the following areas combined: penetration testing, threat hunting, and forensic analysis. 

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
  • OSCP, GSCH, CISSP, Pentest+, CySA+ or other relevant certifications.
