Jr Research Analyst Specialist Ingest, Information Technology
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered.
Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is seeking exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as Junior Research Analysts – Ingest, Information Technology to join the Supply Chain Risk Management Team in support of our government client. The Junior Research Analyst – Ingest, Information Technology conducts classified and unclassified research the documents research results. Documented using approved standards, document templates, and workflow systems/processes.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Jr Research Analyst Specialist Ingest, Information Technology: $80,000 - $90,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Jr Research Analyst Specialist Ingest, Information Technology Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct Ingest of incoming acquisition requests using both automation and manual input from all sources, to include the contract management system, SharePoint, and email
- Conducts ingest and/or classified and unclassified research then documents technical and non-technical vulnerabilities and mitigations of an acquisition; including products, manufacturers, resellers, transportation, and service providers
- Delivers technical expertise to the SCRM PO
- Conduct assessment of the hazards, vulnerabilities, and mitigations to estimate the probability of the risk occurring and the consequences of the risk occurring to the mission
- Conduct unclassified and classified research to understand
- Assess and document technical and non-technical vulnerabilities and mitigations of an acquisition; includes products, manufacturers, resellers, transportation, and service providers
- Provide risk reduction recommendations as appropriate
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph
- Minimum of three (3) years of cumulative experience in information technology or a cybersecurity discipline to include: systems risk management, developed understanding of networking, operating system and applications, vulnerability management and analysis, development of technical mitigations, IT based SCRM experience
- Developed understanding of networking, operating system and applications, vulnerability management and analysis.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
