The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for multiple full-time Acquisition Program Managers, GG-1101-12 to work for the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (HNC), at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.
Recruitment incentives may be available based on eligibility
Salary Range: $88,000 to $115,000
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
In this position, you will serve as an Acquisition Program Manager responsible for leading the acquisition strategy for product development, securing resources such as funding, talent, and software licenses. You will develop and manage acquisition strategy plans while leading a team of cross-functional experts. Key duties include communicating strategies to stakeholders, monitoring project metrics to access progress, and ensuring acquisition goals are met. Additionally, you will serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), overseeing contractual performance and addressing any issues that may arise.

- US citizenship is required
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Must sign a non-disclosure agreement

- Knowledge of laws, principles, policies, and practices of systems Acquisition and Program Management.
- Knowledge of business and industrial management, contracting procedures, technical concepts, and production practices to evaluate contractor proposals and activities.
- Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the Department of the Defense, Air Force, and other entities that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process and integrated life cycle management.
- Understanding of rules and guidelines for managing acquisition programs and keeping sensitive information safe
- Ability to organize and oversee important parts of developing and producing equipment, and managing different tasks and people involved in the process
- Knowledge of how businesses operate, including contracts and technical details, to review contractor proposals and work
- Desired Experience: Cyberspace Operations, Agile Software Development, DAWIA Certification in Program Management
