Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Physics and 9+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
- RF System development experience
- Antenna Design, Development, and testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience collaborating, organizing, teaming, and communicating with a diverse team of government sponsors, researchers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project performance.
- Experience in proposal development and leadership of sponsored research projects.
- Experience developing and delivering technical briefings.
- MATLAB
- Masters degree or PhD
Key Responsibilities
- Develop requirements and direct others to perform design and theory research and lab testing tasks as task lead.
- Mentor others in developing methods and expertise in broad areas of design, theory, and testing as task lead.
- Document work of design, theory, and test in written and presentation form as team lead.
- Coordinate documentation inputs from team.
- Primary lead on the development of whitepapers and proposals in research areas of expertise.
- Primary lead on sponsors and potential sponsors engagement.
- Primary author of entire technical reports/presentations of projects, journal articles, and conference presentations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in RF system development.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in antenna design, development, and testing.
- Perform assessments of RF system capabilities for new RF system design, development, and fabrication.
- Support proposal development by developing technical content and estimating level of effort.
- Serve as mentor for junior and mid-level engineers.
