Contract to Hire: Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD

Washington, DC: Pennsylvania Ave
Position requires candidate a minimum of an Active Top Secrect clearance with ability to obtain SCI prior to starting; can take 2-4 weeks to process

About The Division
The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.
Responsibilities
Provide sustainment support at the web application tier.
Support development teams to configure development environments and tune web application stacks.
Develop, maintain, improve, and automate processes for operations and deployments.
Required
10 years of Web Administration and/or Development experience.
Proficiency in installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and hardening of mid-tier tools such as Apache TomCat, JBOSS, Oracle and administration of on-premise Sharepoint Server.
Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree, preferred.
Security Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret, required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Candidate must be able to function in a general office environment.
