Construction Surveillance Technician
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.
The Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) provides essential security support at job sites, ensuring compliance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 requirements. The CST is responsible for maintaining security of construction areas, monitoring personnel, and documenting progress for secure spaces. This role is critical to identifying and reporting security issues and ensuring the integrity of secure facilities during the construction process.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Construction Surveillance Technician: $115,000 to $120,000.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

The CST is responsible for maintaining security of construction areas, monitoring personnel, and documenting progress for secure spaces. This role is critical to identifying and reporting security issues and ensuring the integrity of secure facilities during the construction process.

Construction Surveillance Technician Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in maintaining the security of the construction site by validating personnel access and ensuring compliance with ICD 705 requirements for secure areas.
- Implement screening and inspection procedures for both construction personnel and materials, routinely coordinating with the site security monitor to ensure secure spaces are cleared and secured before departing.
- Draft, maintain, and electronically file daily construction surveillance reports and photographs, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 standards for use in the security accreditation process.
- Identify and report any security concerns or potential issues related to the construction of secure facilities.
- Work closely with the User’s security team to ensure the site remains compliant with security protocols and regulations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Construction Security Surveillance
- Technical Surveillance Countermeasures
- Industrial or Government Security involving Counterintelligence
- Construction Quality Assurance
- Supervisory construction experience
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 requirements.
- Working knowledge of building and construction crafts.
- Proficiency in the use of photography, computers, and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Preferred: Completion of OSHA 10-Hr Safety Course, government-approved Construction Surveillance Technician course, and ICD 705 training.
- Preferred: Security experience related to Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) construction.
- Preferred: Experience with AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC, or DOS construction processes.
- Preferred: Experience with DoD/MILCON construction projects.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
