Responsibilities

  • We have a unique opportunity for a Fleet Support Rep - Mission Planning Trainer to join our PMA-281 team. This position will be based at NAS Whidbey Island, WA, but may require supporting additional military installations, both CONUS and OCONUS; some travel is required.
  • What You'll Do:
  • Provide on-site technical support, fleet release training, scheduled classroom training, and on-the-job training to the squadrons and commands that utilize JMPS.
  • Collaborate with multiple, cross-functional teams to compile data inputs, establish training requirements, and review developed material.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between the fleet, logistics team, and the Program Office.
  • Support JMPS Enhanced Developmental Tests
  • Support Operational Test events
  • Support the PMA-281 Help Desk and Technical Documentation Teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree
    • Certifications/Licenses:
      • Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer, Mission Planning Experience, preferably in attack aircraft
    • Experience:
      • Minimum 7 years of direct experience as a Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer which includes 4 years of experience in mission / strike planning and three years conducting NavMPS training and / or NavMPS curriculum development.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
      • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Experience:
      • In-depth experience developing technical documentation and training for military computer systems
      • DoD approved 8570 Baseline certification or civilian equivalent. Personnel performing IA functions must obtain one of the certifications required for their position category or specialty and level. Refer to Appendix 3 of 8570.01-M for further implementation guidance

    • Business Partner/Effective Communicator:
      • English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors.
      • Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.
      • Ability to train, lead projects, direct employees.
      • Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
      • USD $125k - $155k
    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
