ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer with the focus of Cisco Networks, to join our team in Laurel, MD. Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and upgrade networks, including routers and switches.
• Update and configure virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies.
• Design and plan the network for Cisco NEXUS switches.
• Establish and maitina Cisco network.
• Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (Solarwinds).
• Mentor teammates to improve their skills and be self-motivated.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience. Additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree.
• Able to download software and upgrade Cisco switches and firewalls
• Strong background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls. Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Solarwinds
• Familiarity with LatteART and XACTA Clearance Requirements:
• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
• Must be a US Citizen Physical Requirements:
• The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk.
