The Opportunity:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, an experienced Network Technician who knows how to develop the exact network the Army needs to provide training where it's needed.
As a Network Team Lead on our team, you are a member of a team of network administrators and technicians. You’ll use your advanced networking experience to support Mission Training Complex (MTC) daily operations, training, and exercise events. Your knowledge of network protocols, network troubleshooting, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity controls, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on distributed exercises and missions to the point of need.
You’ll apply your expertise as a network technician as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Army evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in network architecture design and implementation
- Experience in advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance skills on the Microsoft server platform and cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration and SONET configuration or architecture,
- Experience with specific product lines, such as Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, and Tripwire
- Knowledge of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies
- Ability to meet DoD 8570.01-m baseline computing environment (CE) certification requirements at information assurance technical level III (IAT III), or the minimum DoD 8140 DCWF requirements for work role 441 network operations specialist
- Ability to understand the RMF assess and authorize process and cyber security requirements
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Network Management
- CCNA Certification
- TS/SCI clearance
