In this position you will serve as the Director of Intelligence (DoI) for the Integrated Development Office (IDO). The incumbent plans, directs, and manages the entire intelligence support effort; from technology identification to concept assessment and program development identifying intelligence requirements, researching adversary capabilities and vulnerabilities to optimize weapon system operations, identifying gaps and resolving/mitigating deficiencies, to delivering technical intelligence solutions to the program office. They will be the primary interface up to senior leadership in the intelligence community including to Air Staff and joint service partners. The Director of Intelligence provides strategic advice, guidance, and intelligence workforce management recommendations to the Director of the IDO and the intelligence functional community. - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain a Top Secret Security with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance - This is a designated Drug Testing Position - Obtain Acquisition Intelligence Certification Level 1 within 18 mos. - Expert knowledge of acquisition intelligence support to early development of USAF weapons programs - Experience collaborating with engineers, program managers, Air Staff, and Coalition leaders at the GO/SES level - Expert knowledge of acquisition principles, policy, and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system’s life-cycle and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USAF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises.
