Nakupuna Solutions is looking for an Acquisition Specialist (Veterans Encouraged to Apply) who will primarily be responsible for planning, organizing, and participating in tasks and projects for the entire acquisition life cycle, and for exceeding client expectations in the quality of all government deliverables in support of Operations and Integration Directorate of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

- Assist with developing and reviewing acquisition strategies, documentation, statements of objectives, source selection plans, and business cases that support acquisition decisions.
- Provide acquisition support for services and supplies, including major system acquisitions, and execute the full life-cycle acquisition requirement.
- Utilize automated systems such as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), and Contract and Agreement Deliverable and Invoice Management System (CADIMS) for tracking and monitoring acquisition status, funding, implementation, and closeout.
- Support the development of requirements, market research, estimates, and other related procurement documentation to assist with the preparation of Intragovernmental Transactions in the form of Interagency Agreements (IAAs), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), and Economy Act Orders.
- Knowledge of acquisition-related laws, policies, regulations, requirements and precedents.
- Skill in contract management and ability to assess contract operations utilizing analytical methods/techniques.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of contract types with ability to weigh the advantages and disadvantages.
- Knowledge of Intra-Governmental Transactions such as IAAs, MIPRs, and Economy Act Orders.
- Ability to identify conflicting areas of program concerns.
- Familiarity with Program Management Office requirements and the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe, and MS Teams.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent obtained from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
- Experience – Four (4) or more years of relevant professional experience in federal or government acquisition
