Systems Engineer - Data Protection

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in data protection solutions to join our team. This position offers the chance to work on critical, high-impact projects in a professional and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, optimize, and maintain comprehensive data protection solutions (e.g., backup, snapshots, and contingency plans).
  • Ensure recovery objectives (RPO/RTO) are met by restoring virtual machines across networks and locations.
  • Perform operational and maintenance duties typical of a systems administrator, ensuring system stability and reliability.
  • Document processes and solutions to enhance system performance and resilience.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Administration.
  • Proven expertise in data protection solutions, such as NetApp, Dell AppAssure, Dell EMC, Veeam, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree is a plus).
  • Infrastructure certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required to work on secure government projects.

Pay Rate / Range : $55.00 to $65.00 an hour

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions
