- The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Program Engineer. Your efforts, if selected, will be foundational to acquiring unique, assured communications systems critical to National Security.
- As a key member of this incredible team, you will directly partner with a wide range of stakeholders across the Department of Defense (DoD) and industry to ensure program success.
- More specifically, you will be driving all aspects of engineering design, development, and execution for the program to provide the world’s most leading-edge communication technologies. SKILLS:
- Strong systems engineering background, as applied to DoD acquisition programs, desired.
- Experience related to architecting, designing, deploying, sustaining, managing, securing, or operating RF, Terrestrial, or SATCOM communications systems is highly desired.
- Experience in managing large scale integration efforts with a diverse set of stakeholders across organizational boundaries desired.
- NC3 domain engineering experience desired.
- Technical management and IPT Leadership experience desired. REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP
- The position is subject to random drug testing.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations.
- An advanced engineering degree, such as a Master’s or PhD is preferred. Electrical, Electronics/RF/Communications, Computer, Software and Systems Engineering degrees desired.
- This position is designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The selected candidate will be required to take Government provided training and obtain APDP practitioner level certification in Engineering and Technical Management.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- The selected candidate will be the subject of a security background investigation and the work requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance (TS/SCI).
- Incumbent performs other engineering related duties as assigned.
