Internal Sales Representative (Paarden Eiland, Cape Town)

National hardware group are seeking an Internal Sales Representative for their Paarden Eiland branch in Cape Town.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide an efficient and effective service to all customers entering the shop.
2. Refer or escort the customers to the showroom upstairs.
3. Provide the customer with the required application and technical information regarding colour, grade, price, stock availability and use of products
4. Use sales and marketing techniques to influence customer to purchase products, to buy up, etc.
5. Make out an order and advise customer of process, i.e., payment to cashier, arranging delivery, dispatch from Warehouse, etc.
6. Follow-up with customers who required samples or measurements.
7. Ensure Sales Representative area is neat and clean at all times to create the correct impression.
8. Ensure that the personal appearance is immaculate at all times to project a positive sales and company image.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12
2. Be computer literate
3. Previous experience in Building supply industry is advantageous.
4. Experience in Tile products (an added advantage)
5. Be goal driven and results orientated
6. Able and willing to work retail hours:
7. Monday Friday 08h00 to 17h00
8. Saturdays 08h00 to 15h00

Alternate (every second) Sunday and Public Holiday 09h00 to 14h00

RUMUNERATION

R5,000 basic salary

+ Commission

+ Incentive on reaching prescribed monthly target
