SHEQ Manager (With NACE CIP2 Certification) (Durban, KZN)

International group are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager who has 3 years experience in the Corrosion Protection/Construction sector with a NACE Level 2 certification (essential).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Discuss quality requirements per job,
2. Excellent computer skills with the ability to draft QCPs / ITPs and Data books,
3. Conduct quality assessments and inspections on jobs to ensure conformance,
4. Compile inspection Reports for Clients and internal senior management,
5. Conduct workshop and site inspections,
6. Conduct corrosion assessments when required,
7. Investigate customer and supplier non-conformances,
8. Conduct quality tests (coating, blasting, rubber-pull tests etc.) and compile reports,
9. Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments,
10. Conduct incident investigations,
11. Ensure SHE legal compliance,
12. Compile relevant SHEQ procedures,
13. Supply training to employees,
14. Implement, maintain and audit the ISO9001:2015 QMS,
15. Implement, maintain and audit the ISO45001:2015 OHSMS,
16. Ensure proper administration.

RUMUNERATION

1. Grade 12
2. Minimum NACE CIP Level 2 (essential non negotiable)
3. South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) registration
4. SHE qualifications
5. Legal liability
6. SAMTRAC (an added advantage)
7. Implementation, maintenance and auditing of ISO9001:2015 (an added advantage)
8. Implementation, maintenance and auditing of ISO45001:2015 (an added advantage)
9. Minimum 3 years experience as a quality inspector.
10. Minimum 3 years experience in the construction/corrosion protection industry.
11. Conducting HIRAs.
12. Compile Safety Files.
13. Investigation of non-conformances.
