Position Purpose:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing advanced vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and technical inspections in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures. The role independently diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults; completes repairs with a first-time fix approach, and ensures vehicles are repaired efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Service Advisors, Senior Technicians, Workshop Controller, Parts Department, and Quality Control teams; the Service Technician contributes to workshop productivity, customer satisfaction, warranty compliance, and the delivery of an exceptional luxury ownership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair procedures.
- Independently diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information systems.
- Perform Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHC) and accurately identify repair recommendations and additional service opportunities.
- Complete warranty repairs and campaign work in compliance with manufacturer policies and documentation requirements.
- Ensure all repair work meets first-time fix quality standards while achieving productivity and efficiency targets.
- Support and provide technical guidance to Technicians on repair procedures and diagnostic activities when required.
- Accurately document repair findings, labor operations, diagnostic results, and technical comments within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Department, Warranty team, and Workshop Controller to ensure timely vehicle completion.
- Maintain workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Comply with all manufacturer standards, dealership policies, workplace safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Experience / Knowledge Required:
- Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline.
- Manufacturer Technical Certification (Level 2 or Level 3) is highly preferred.
- Hybrid and Electric Vehicle (EV) certification is an added advantage.
Salary:
500 to 750 USD
Working Hours:
Working day - 5 day and Half. 8:00AM-5:45PM (Monday-Saturday half day)
