Job Responsibilities:

As the Cambodia Country CFO & Digital Transformation, the person will be responsible for the preparation and execution of the Long-Term Business Plan centered on growth which aims at increasing companys profitability, successful implementation of digital projects including HIS/CRM/ERP systems, leadership of the companys subsidiaries, finance & IT team, and improve service quality and process efficiency in the Companys locations. More specifically, his/her responsibilities include the following:

Strategic

  • Preparation and presentation of the Companys Long-Term Business Plan and Annual Budgets towards the Board of Directors
  • Assist CEO in formulating Company's future direction and support tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans including feasibility studies on new medical service offerings
  • Development of a financial and operational strategy and metrics tied to Companys business strategy
  • Develop and lead financial and tax strategies to increase Companys profitability, cashflow and assets. This includes analysis of Companys costs by sites/departments to identify underperforming areas and implementation of cost control policies to improve profitability and strengthen cashflow.
  • Participate and provide support in key decisions as a member of the executive management team. Attendance to and preparation of all Board meetings and -upon request of the Board- the Audit and/or the Remuneration and/or the Investment and/or the Strategic Committee
  • Ensure the companys profitable growth while keeping the organization lean and scalable

Finance

  • Accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company. Oversee the issuance of financial information and ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies. Maintain relations with external auditors and prepare for Group Consolidation Audit
  • Development and monitoring of control systems designed to provide accurate reporting of the company's financial results and preserve the company's assets
  • Lead and centralise companys subsidiaries, finance team, which includes developing team structure as well as mentoring talent
  • Improve risk management by developing and implementing proper financial policies and controls
  • Manage any third parties relationships which include banking relationships and third parties outsourcing service providers
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts and maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Report financial results to the board of directors and risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
  • Lead the joint procurement initiatives of subsidiaries in medical supplies, medical & IT equipment to provide cost savings to the company

Operational

  • Daily management of the group including all financial, operational, and administrative matters of the operations
  • Further strengthen the hospital Brands as a recognized beacon in the market for both residents and their families as for foreigners
  • Attract, select, train, develop, retain and motivate the best talent in the industry and be recognized as such both internally and on the employment market
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and ensure the group remain in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and companies policies
  • Continuously identify areas for process and service improvement in meeting the local and global standards
  • Champion resolution of any audit and compliance findings in partnership with the Executive Leadership team to drive and maintain good governance
  • Ensure efficient processes across the organization at all levels

Digital

  • Lead and successfully implement digital projects within the specified timeframe per company's digital roadmap which includes Hospital Information System (HIS)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence (BI) systems
  • Lead and centralized company's subsidiaries IT team, which includes developing team structure as well as mentoring talent

Time Allocation

  • The Cambodia Country CFO and Digital Transformation is anticipated to dedicate half of his time assisting the Hospital management to foster the growth of the Hospital, supported by the CEO and senior management team.
  • The remaining half of his time is expected to be allocated to the following responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall performance of the group, encompassing both brands and individual sites, and ensuring the successful integration between both brands
  • Establish cost synergies between both brands, with a focus on the centralization of back-office functions (finance, procurement, IT)
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans including feasibility studies on new medical service offerings
  • Lead the joint procurement initiatives in medical supplies, medical & IT equipment to provide cost savings to the company
  • Lead and successfully implement digital projects which includes HIS/CRM/ERP/BI

Requirements

  • Go-getter attitude and teamwork
  • Strong leadership and track record of managing people required
  • Have a master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation, preferably food manufacturing related
  • Should have experience in partnering with an executive team (highly desirable if worked with private equity before)
  • Adept in written and oral communication skills
  • Strong experience in process improvement and ERP implementation/ upgrade
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA Qualification
  • High degree of integrity, ethics, and proven track record of good governance
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience performing FP&A job task

Salary range

USD7000-8000 (negotiable)
