Key responsibilities
- Manage petty cash and bank balance for daily operation
- Review daily transaction in Excel and Accounting system
- Ensure all transaction has been posted accurately and correct classification in accounting system
- Manage financial transactions, i.e. AP, AR and inventory control
- Review all payments for both oversea and local
- Review bank Reconciliation
- Review AR balance in Accounting system and invoice in process are correct
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Review Project controlling report
- Review and track fixed assets list for company
- To ensure that stock report and accounting system are correct
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
- Prepare monthly tax report and send to Financial Manager for review
- Provide training to staff members regarding to financial process
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience: You'll need experience in accounting, preferably in a construction company or a public accounting firm with construction clients.
- Construction accounting experience: Understanding of construction accounting principles, including the percentage of completion method, is crucial.
- Project experience: Experience working on complex construction projects is a major asset.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software, like QuickBooks or project management software used in construction.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to solve complex accounting problems and identify solutions.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with project managers and other departments.
- Time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary range
USD 1300 gross
