Key responsibilities

  • Manage petty cash and bank balance for daily operation
  • Review daily transaction in Excel and Accounting system
  • Ensure all transaction has been posted accurately and correct classification in accounting system
  • Manage financial transactions, i.e. AP, AR and inventory control
  • Review all payments for both oversea and local
  • Review bank Reconciliation
  • Review AR balance in Accounting system and invoice in process are correct
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation
  • Review Project controlling report
  • Review and track fixed assets list for company
  • To ensure that stock report and accounting system are correct
  • Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Prepare monthly tax report and send to Financial Manager for review
  • Provide training to staff members regarding to financial process
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience: You'll need experience in accounting, preferably in a construction company or a public accounting firm with construction clients.
  • Construction accounting experience: Understanding of construction accounting principles, including the percentage of completion method, is crucial.
  • Project experience: Experience working on complex construction projects is a major asset.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software, like QuickBooks or project management software used in construction.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to solve complex accounting problems and identify solutions.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with project managers and other departments.
  • Time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range

USD 1300 gross
