Key responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Finance Asia to deliver all aspects of the Asia regional business plan
  • Responsibility for the full scope of finance, tax, treasury, & legal for the South China region, in collaboration with the Group Finance team and in line with Group policies and timelines:
  • Enhancing the operational efficiency of all local finance processes
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Enhancing the internal controls environment
  • To get more involved in the Budgeting and Forecasting (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Local compliance including legal and tax
  • Local record keeping, accounting and reporting
  • Support the Head of Finance Asia with the Asia region finance function/ framework (e.g. reporting tools & dashboards, Business planning, internal audits, internal controls etc)
  • Business Partner with the GM North and South China
  • Manage key relationships with external China stakeholders (e.g. banks, auditors, local tax advisors etc)

Requirements

  1. Min.5 years experience in Accountant
  2. Finance background in industry
  3. Logistics sector experience
  4. Ability to work with finance/non finance staff
  5. Excellent communication skills report writing, presentations, verbal communications across different cultures
  6. Financial modelling
  7. Good understanding of accounting standards
  8. Ability to interpret and translate financial data into meaningful analysis
  9. Knowledge of Cargowise (ERP) advantageous
  10. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  11. Negotiation skills

Salary range

USD 1500 to 2000 gross
