Key responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing
- Collaborate with local and regional hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and develop job descriptions and recruitment strategies tailored to each location.
- Source candidates through various channels, including local job boards, recruitment agencies, and social media platforms.
- Screen and shortlist applicants, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate further interview rounds with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from offer generation to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and compliance with local employment regulations.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives across all locations within the country.
- Handle employee disciplinary issues and conflicts in accordance with company policies and local labor laws, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement in the workplace environment and HR processes.
Performance Management
- Assist in the design and implementation of performance management systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local laws and market competitiveness.
- Provide employees with clear and accurate information about their compensation and benefits entitlements and handle any related inquiries or disputes.
HR Compliance
- Stay updated on the constantly evolving labor laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Ensure that all HR policies, procedures, and employment contracts are in full compliance with local legal frameworks and are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Coordinate with local legal advisors and authorities as needed and manage any HR-related audits or inspections.
Administrative Support
- Manage office facilities and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
- Oversee office supplies procurement and inventory management, optimizing costs and ensuring availability.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, visas, and work permits for employees traveling between locations or for international business trips.
- Organize and manage company events, meetings, and conferences, taking into account local customs and preferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 - 5 years or above of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably with multicultural work environment.
- Experience in handling employee relations, compensation management, and compliance matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and local language. Chinese communicator is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR local compliance and basic administration.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to handle complex HR and administrative issues and make sound judgments in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
Salary range
USD 600 to 800 gross
