Key responsibilities
The Station Manager/Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a logistics station in Cambodia. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, operational management, and customer service skills to ensure the efficient and effective handling of shipments, management of a team, and achievement of performance targets.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of logistics staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and customer service representatives.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to improve individual and team performance.
- Allocate tasks and resources effectively to ensure smooth operations and meet service level agreements.
Operational Planning and Execution
- Plan and manage the daily work schedule of the station, including loading and unloading of shipments, sorting, and dispatching.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners, such as suppliers, carriers, and customers, to optimize the supply chain process.
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory control and management, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage of goods.
- Implement inventory management systems and procedures to minimize losses and improve inventory turnover.
Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Work with the customer service team to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide regular reports to customers on shipment status and performance metrics.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the station, such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
- Analyze performance data and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance overall station performance.
Facility and Equipment Management
- Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of the logistics station facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for repairs and upgrades as needed.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all shipments, inventory movements, and operational activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on station performance, issues, and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in logistics operations
- At least 1 - 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience in the Cambodian logistics market is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Good understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills in English and Khmer (both written and verbal).

USD2000 -USD3000gross
