Key responsibilities
The Secretary to the BOD will provide dedicated executive support to the Board of Directors and the
CEO, acting as a key liaison between the BOD and both internal and external stakeholders. The role
requires professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills across languages. This
position also represents the company in communications with governmental entities and serves as
the company spokesperson when needed.
1. BOD Secretary Work:
- Coordinate and manage BOD meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation,
- meeting minutes, and follow-up on action items.
- Ensure timely distribution of all documentation and maintain meticulous records
- of BOD proceedings.
- Act as the point of contact between the BOD and company departments for
- operational updates, policy adherence, and communication flows.
2. Executive Support to BOD and CEO:
- Provide administrative assistance to the BOD and CEO, handling confidential matters, official correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting organization.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring relevant data and reports are prepared and accessible.
3. Government Relations:
- Represent the company in interactions with government entities, promoting and protecting company interests.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with government agencies,
- stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to support business operations.
4. Public Relations and Company Spokesperson Duties:
- Serve as the company spokesperson, ensuring clear, accurate, and positive communication with the media and public.
- Organize and participate in public speaking engagements, conferences, and community events.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and handle inquiries from external stakeholders professionally.
5. Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and compliance standards for the
- industry.
- o Oversee adherence to policies, regulations, and ethical standards, guiding the
- BOD on compliance matters.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Public Relations, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, public relations, or as a spokesperson.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar executive support or liaison role with the BOD or senior management.
- Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Khmer is required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of governmental processes and the ability to establish professional relationships with governmental officials.
Salary range
Up to USD2500 - 4000net
