Key responsibilities

QC Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the quality control process for apparel labels, ensuring that all products meet the required standards before they are shipped to customers. This role involves leading a team of QC inspectors, coordinating quality inspections, and collaborating with production teams to address any quality issues. The QC Team Leader plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and consistency.

  • Daily supervise and lead a team of QC inspectors, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide training and guidance to the QC team on quality process standards, inspection techniques, and best practices for every customer
  • Schedule and assign daily tasks to QC inspectors, ensuring coverage for all production lines, RFID and PFL.
  • Oversee the inspection of labels at various stages of production, from raw materials to finished products.
  • Review and analyze inspection data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and address any defects or quality issues promptly, working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and prevent recurring quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, including defect reports, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Prepare regular reports on quality control activities and outcomes for MDI and MSEA management review.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate QC processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce scrap, and improve overall efficiency in the QC department.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new quality control methods.
  • Ensure that all quality control activities comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of QC processes to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for new QC inspectors and ongoing training for existing team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QC team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Associate's degree in quality management, High school diploma or equivalent, textile engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in quality control, or in the apparel or textile industry supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge in problem solving and customer satification
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards, and innovation
  • Excellent leadership, choaching, diverse, and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software, ELS Operation Principles
  • Can work in shift
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Be honest, patiance, disciplinary, planning, and good at interpersonal skills

Salary range

USD1000 - USD1200gross
