About the job Creative Director

Position Title:

Creative Director

Start Date:

ASAP

Position Purpose:

We are looking for a visionary, hands-on Creative Director to take the helm of our creative engine. This is a transformational leadership role. You will not just be directing campaigns; you will be architecting a department. We need a leader who can break down internal silos, establish rigorous creative standards, and mentor a young, hungry team of designers, copywriters, and art directors out of "survival mode" and into high-performance execution. You will translate our clients' business objectives into striking, margin-conscious 360-degree campaigns that dominate both the digital space and the physical world.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Creative Leadership: Drive the overarching creative vision for all major pitches, brand launches, and "Phygital" activations.
  • Ensure all output meets our standard, elevating the agency's visual and narrative output across the board.
  • Act as the primary creative voice in the room during high-stakes client meetings and pitches, capable of selling bold, unconventional ideas to conservative stakeholders.

 2.   Department Architecture & Mentorship: Actively build, structure, and mentor           the creative team. Identify skill gaps and guide hiring to ensure the department           is fully supported.

  • Provide clear "frames for success" so junior and mid-level creatives have the autonomy to execute without micromanagement.
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety where unconventional ideas are championed, while maintaining high accountability for deadlines and quality.

 3.   Operational Rigor & SOP Implementation: Work directly with Account Directors         to kill informal, chaotic workflows (e.g., casual slide decks for internal briefs).

  • Implement strict, professional briefing SOPs and debriefing frameworks to protect your team from scope creep, moving goalposts, and endless internal revisions.
  • Champion the adoption of professional workflow tools (like Asana and Slack) within the creative department to ensure total visibility and time management.

 4.   Cross-Discipline Integration & Tech Adoption: Destroy agency silos by                           collaborating deeply with the Digital, Content, and Procurement teams from day         one of a project.

  • Ensure creative ideas are actually executable, budget-friendly, and aligned with digital media-buying strategies.
  • Pioneer the integration of Generative AI tools and MarTech into the daily creative workflow to increase speed and output quality.

Experience / Knowledge Required:

  • 8+ years of progressive creative experience in an advertising agency setting, with at least 3+ years successfully managing and scaling a creative team as a CD or ACD.
  • A powerhouse portfolio demonstrating award-winning or highly effective 360-degree campaigns (spanning OOH, digital, video, and large-scale experiential/BTL activations).
  • Deep understanding of both traditional brand storytelling and modern, data-driven digital performance creative.
  • High technical fluency: You understand how to bridge the gap between physical event fabrication and digital UI/UX.
  • A "builder's mindset"—you are not easily frustrated by growing pains and possess the structural thinking required to implement new processes.
  • Agency-Specific Focus: Candidates from an advertising agency background often bring experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, managing marketing-related spend (production, media, creative services), and handling urgent, client-driven deadlines.
