Our client, a leading FMCG company is seeking a Network Administrator based in Kuwait. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and detail-oriented IT professional with proven experience in managing and maintaining robust network infrastructures across Windows and Linux environments. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring network performance, availability, and security while providing timely technical support across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, access points, and VPNs.
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Administer and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Windows Active Directory and Linux systems.
  • Configure and maintain Linux servers, including automation scripts for system integration and maintenance.
  • Oversee mail servers, SAN storage, load balancers, and point-to-point connections, ensuring seamless performance.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, implementing regular updates and security measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of system configurations, network changes, and incident reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure network continuity and problem resolution.
  • Perform regular backups and support disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards across the infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support IT operations and enhance system efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a network administration role.
  • Certifications in CCNA and MCSE are required; Linux certifications (e.g., RHCSA) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).
  • Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and IT backup solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and ITIL processes is a plus.

  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
