We are seeking an experienced and creative "Pastries Manager" to join a Lebanese restaurant specializing in Lebanese cuisine and pastries where he shall be responsible for overseeing the pastry department, managing the production of traditional Lebanese pastries, and ensuring the highest quality and consistency of our pastry offerings. 

The ideal candidate should have a passion for pastry arts, expertise in Lebanese pastries, and strong leadership and managerial skills.

Pastries Manager Duties:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive pastry menu that showcases traditional Lebanese pastries while incorporating creative and innovative elements.
  • Overseeing the production of a variety of Lebanese pastries, including but not limited to baklava, maamoul, knafeh, atayef, and halawet el-jibn.
  • Managing the pastry team, including recruiting, training, and supervising pastry chefs and assistants.
  • Setting and maintaining high standards for pastry quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef and management to ensure seamless integration of pastry offerings with the overall restaurant concept and menu.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, ordering ingredients and supplies, and managing food costs within budgetary constraints.
  • Keeping up-to-date with emerging pastry trends, techniques, and ingredients, and incorporating them into the menu when appropriate.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient pastry production area.

Pastries Manager Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts.
  • Creative flair and passion for pastry arts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
