Our client is a leading regional group, seeking to hire a "Head of Unit Operations Support" for their FinTech line. The position will be based in Baghdad, Iraq.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Operation Support Unit, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of support professionals,
  • providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency in operational support functions, such as logistics, supply chain, customer service, and more.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support various operational teams effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and executives to ensure cross- functional collaboration, alignment of operational goals, and seamless business operations.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to make informed decisions, track performance, and identify trends for operational enhancement.
  • Problem Solving: Address operational challenges and provide effective solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain business continuity.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and communicate operational updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in operations management and support leadership roles.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
