Job Overview:

As the Head of Production, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our sweet manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for managing the entire production. Your primary goal is to ensure that our sweets are produced efficiently, safely, and consistently while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:

Develop and execute production plans to meet production targets and deadlines.
Monitor and optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations during production.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.

  • Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold product quality and consistency.
Investigate and address any product quality issues promptly.

  • Resource Management:

Manage production budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.

  • Equipment and Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.
Recommend and coordinate equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary.

  • Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to protect employees and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sweet manufacturing or a similar food production environment.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
