Our client is a leading gaming group that specializes in creating hyper-casual games, seeking to hire a "Head of Product". The position is based in Beirut, Lebanon.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and
    strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze customer needs to inform the product roadmap and prioritize feature development.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, andsales. 
  • Ensure the roadmap aligns with customer requirements, business
    goals, and market trends. Regularly evaluate and adjust the roadmap based on feedback and market dynamics.
  • Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and concept development to product launch and ongoing enhancements. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Set clear goals and expectations, foster a collaborative and innovative culture, and drive the professional development of team members. Coordinate and prioritize resources to achieve product objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between different teams,
    facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about market trends,
    competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct regular market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and potential product improvements. Use data and insights to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
  • Product Performance and Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of products.
  • Monitor product performance, track user engagement, and analyze data to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and take actions to optimize product performance and user experience.
  • Customer Focus: Develop a deep understanding of the target customers and their needs. Gather feedback through user research, usability testing, and customer interviews. Advocate for the customer within the organization, ensuring their needs are reflected in the product strategy and development process.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging
    technologies, and best practices in product management. Act as a thought leader, representing the company at conferences, industry events, and in the broader product management community.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in game design, computer science, fine arts, or related field.
  • Product Management Experience: Significant experience in product
    management is essential. This includes experience in product strategy,
    product development, product launch, and product lifecycle management.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing teams is crucial. This includes managing and mentoring product managers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the industry in which the company operates is important. Knowledge of market trends, competitors, and customer needs within the industry is essential for effective product strategy and decision-making.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for the product is vital.
