About the job Chief Financial Officer

Our Client is one of the world's leading company in Elevators and Escalators looking for a  Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Lebanon. 


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, develop and maintain the accounting system to provide an efficient
    control and improvement on the company's financial activities: assets, revenues,
    expenditures, collections, properties, inventory, receivables and payables accounts,
    periodic financial reports and statements, procurement and purchasing activities
    and procedures, cash flow, salaries, forecasts and projections, assessments, costs
    analysis, statistics and strategies, all kind of taxations, government fees and social
    security contribution, bank accounts...etc.
  • Review and take control over all contracts and subcontracts being signed on behalf
    of the company: new sales, service sales, spare parts, installation,
    maintenance...etc., and keep monitoring their milestones and adherence.
  • Coordinate with all departments and establish a hub to link all departments
    modules with the main accounting and financial system of the company.
  • Re-structure financial dept. in coordination with the higher management and
    provide necessary training to all accounting personnel to upgrade their capabilities.
  • Partner with the software companies for the implementation of an advanced
    computerized reporting system ERP to link all departments to the main financial
    system.
  • Keep monitoring the applicable procedures and processes and propose update if
    needed.
  • Maintain reporting on the daily financial activities.

    Related Experience:
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial management required.
  • Education: BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • Masters Degree is a plus.
  • CPA/ CMA related certificate is an asset.
