About the job Methods Engineer
Our client, a construction firm based in Lebanon and KSA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Methods Engineer in Beirut, Lebanon to join their estimation department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in construction projects, with a strong focus on optimizing construction methods and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative construction methodologies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance project delivery timelines.
- Analyze current construction methods and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Implement solutions to optimize construction processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure efficient utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Establish quality control measures and standards to ensure that construction projects meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments for construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks related to methods and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in construction technology and integrate innovative tools and software to improve construction methods and productivity.
- Provide guidance and training to construction teams on new methods, techniques, and best practices to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to optimize construction processes and achieve project goals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and maximizing productivity throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation of construction methods, processes, and changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on methods engineering, process optimization, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), project management software, and scheduling tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
