A construction firm based in Lebanon and KSA is currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer In Lebanon in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional with 0 to 5 years of experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within the estimation department.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Assist in the development of mechanical designs, plans, and specifications for construction projects, including HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and piping systems.
  • CAD Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify mechanical drawings, schematics, and layouts in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Technical Analysis: Perform technical calculations, analyses, and simulations to evaluate mechanical systems, components, and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with design criteria and regulatory codes.
  • Material Selection: Assist in the selection and procurement of mechanical materials, equipment, and components, considering project specifications, budget constraints, and quality requirements.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate mechanical design and installation activities, resolve conflicts, and ensure integration with other building systems.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and project records, to track project progress, changes, and approvals.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure that mechanical installations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards in mechanical engineering through ongoing learning and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 0 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the construction industry. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical requirements and apply engineering principles to design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
