About the job Kitchen Staff
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join a Lebanese kitchen team as "Kitchen Staff". The ideal candidates shall have a passion for Lebanese cuisine, a strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute to the creation of exceptional dishes and pastries.
Kitchen Staff Duties:
- Assisting in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
- Cooking and grilling a variety of Lebanese dishes, such as mezze, grills, stews, salads, and traditional pastries, following established recipes and techniques.
- Assisting in the preparation of Lebanese pastries, including kneading dough, shaping pastries, and baking.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Supporting and collaborating with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
- Ensuring food quality and presentation by following standard recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines.
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients.
- Assisting in receiving and inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities and quality of products.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting colleagues when needed.
Kitchen Staff Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for Lebanese cuisine and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
