About the job Head of Human Resources
Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Human Resources in Baghdad, Iraq to lead their department and align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Will be tasked with optimizing and improving current basic HR procedures such as recruitment and payroll.
- Evaluate and optimize existing HR processes encompassing recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, and employee relations.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment endeavors, sourcing and selecting top-tier talent that seamlessly integrates with our company ethos.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive workspace by adeptly handling employee relations matters and promptly addressing concerns.
- Design and implement initiatives that boost engagement, cultivating contentment and job satisfaction.
- Oversee performance reviews, constructive feedback sessions, and personalized career progress plans.
- Adherence to Compliance and HR and CBI Regulations.
- Establish and implement annual objectives, budget and programs for the Human Resources Department in conjunction with the company's strategic plan.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar role in Human Resources.
- Previous experience in all Human Resources functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, payroll, HR policies and procedures, employee relations and engagement, recognition and performance management.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll systems.
- Managed an HR team previously.
- Strong leadership & communication skills.
- A degree in Human Resources or similar.
- Proficient at an advanced level with MS Office and computers and relevant programs.
