About the job Sales Development Representative

Our client is a leading furniture manufacturing based in DR Congo, seeking to hire a "Sales Development Representative". As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support the sales team. You will engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and nurture relationships to create opportunities for the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

Conduct research to identify potential customers and industries.
Use various channels (cold calling, email, and social media) to reach out to prospects.
Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and following up on leads and inquiries.

Outbound Communication:

Initiate contact with potential customers through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.
Clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.

Lead Qualification:

Evaluate and qualify leads based on specific criteria, ensuring alignment with the ideal customer profile.
Gather information on prospect needs, timelines, and budget constraints.

CRM Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Ensure that lead information is complete and actionable by the sales team.

Collaboration with Sales Team:

Work closely with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and provide relevant information for successful sales engagements.
Participate in regular meetings to discuss lead progress and strategy.

Performance Metrics:

Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly quotas for qualified leads.
Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes.

Staff Management:

Organize Sales Staff schedules (Precise Peak time, Organize break times and off days)
Manage different department in the store (Sales team, cashier team, Logistics and deliveries team, cleaning team, security team)
Supervise sales cycle (Make quotations, sales orders, invoices and payment)

Visual merchandising assistance:

Work on store displays using coordination with interior design department and visual merchandising department.

Inventory checks:

Conduct daily inventory checking (To be sure that all items are available in the showroom and available in the stock to sell)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales.
  • Fluent in French & English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
