Job Title: Area/Branch Manager

Position Specifications:
The Area/Branch Manager is expected to possess a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in accomplishing the following:
- Oversee branch operations, managing finance, HR, IT (systems and infrastructure), procurement, logistics, business development, cash flow/receivables/payables, personnel and asset utilization, technical operations, marketing, employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure for branch operations.
- Provide close oversight of projects and strengthen relationships with clients.
- Ensure business growth in accordance with yearly set budgets and targets.
- Prepare and review tenders and proposals.
- Develop new services for the branch, such as NDT and environmental services.
- Coordinate closely with other branches within the country and internationally to reinforce synergies.
- Collaborate closely with the central head office to ensure alignment with company strategy, policies, and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting from accounts, HR, and other admin functions.
- Coordinate closely with the Quality Department to improve accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Achieve and maintain a high level of customer and employee satisfaction.
- Initiate additional growth for new services and new branches.
- Be involved in client development, marketing to new and existing clients, and handle the business development of the branch.
- Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Laboratory through direct supervision and close coordination with heads of departments (Physical, Chemistry, External Operations, and Logistics).
- Oversee testing activities in all departments (concrete, cement, soil, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, steel, and asphalt, etc.), ensuring all testing processes comply with appropriate standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.) and align with company policies and procedures for safety and integrity.
- Compile, review, and approve lab and field reports; possess sound knowledge of laboratory tests, field testing, and inspection.
- Establish and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Program for all lab equipment.
- Monitor project processes, performance, and budgetary conditions, attend project meetings, and assist in the resolution of both technical and administrative problems.
- Develop subordinates and direct reports, preparing them to assume higher positions through training, coaching, and regular guidance.
Mandatory Core Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (B.E.) in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing business and operations, and a minimum of 5 years of overall experience in construction.
- MBA is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of the KSA market.
- Demonstrated ability to interact as a leader in a team-building environment with a wide variety of individuals from diverse disciplines, cultures, and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage people at all levels.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects concurrently (with different deadlines) and marshal the resources necessary to accomplish them.
- Conversant with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and HSE systems.
