About the job Art Director

Our Client is looking for an Art Director in Lebanon to be responsible for overseeing the creative branding and/or advertising process and to be able to quickly interpret business needs and client briefs and turn them into compelling creative solutions. Often working under tight deadlines while overseeing multiple projects.

Essential Functions (Include tasks, activities, duties, other duties may be assigned)

  • Come up with creative thinking during brainstorming sessions, and project kick-off meetings
  • Crack fresh new ideas for visual communication, taking into account client briefs and target audience.
  • Lead the artistic vision for various projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Assist in the supervision of the team to promote an inspiring atmosphere and desirable work flow to achieve high standards of creativity, relevance, and quality.
  • Guide, influence, and motivate others with thought-provoking ideas and recommendation
  • Review work and provide constructive feedback to team members and iterate on designs to achieve optimal results.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budget constraints
  • Engage with clients to understand their vision, provide design recommendations, and present creative concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Work closely with copywriters, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand elements and messaging across all visual materials, maintaining brand integrity. Follow-up on the production process with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the Production team to ensure quality standards are met during the production process.
  • Communicate regularly with ACD, ensuring strategy and projects are on track, gaining support and guidance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design techniques to bring innovative and cutting-edge ideas to the team.

Key relationships (clients, digital & growth marketing, graphic designers...)

  • The position has a host of internal and external relations.
  • The Art Director coordinates with different departments to achieve the client satisfaction target
  • The Art Director maintains excellent working relationships and coordination with the local, regional, and international networks
  • The Art Director is in direct contact with clients and partners.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven Art Direction experience.
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team
  • Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into visually appealing concepts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent in Art & Design
  • 4+ years of experience in Art Direction.

Position is based in an office, requiring sitting at a desk most of the day;
