Job brief

We are seeking to hire a competent and talented "Social Media Manager" to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers, as well as analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online.

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You shall manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

The position will be based in Beirut, Lebanon.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer expectations according to past social media activity
  • Develop social media campaigns, monitor campaigns and analyse data obtained
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Define KPIs and KRAs for social media campaigns
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Update social media content across all channels
  • Engage with customers, communicate with followers, and respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network
  • Keep an eye on social media trends
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers

Requirements

  • BS/ MSc degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or related field
  • Prior experience as a Content Manager and as a Social Media Manager
  • Experience in creating social media strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and online marketing channels, etc.
  • Time management and excellent copywriting skills
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen and proficient in expressing the company's views creatively
  • Organization, analytical and multitasking skills
  • Craft engaging content
