Our client is in the F&B Sector, operates a chain of restaurants and is currently seeking to hire a Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional Persian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors, with the ability to create innovative dishes that reflect our commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the menu, ensuring a diverse selection of authentic Persian dishes.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
  • Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximize profitability.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate seasonal ingredients into the menu.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to create promotional events and special menus.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role, preferably in Persian or Middle Eastern cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Persian cooking techniques, spices, and traditional dishes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Passion for food and creativity in menu development.
