We are seeking to hire a competent "Senior Demand Planner" to join our team and ensure company's operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. The talented one will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

Ultimately, a successful Demand Planner will work with leaders within the organization to ensure continuous supply consumers based on future demand for the products or services.

Demand Planner Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Start and monitor the ordering process in conjunction with the commercial team and distributors.
  • Evaluate in-market demand, prepare for and organize monthly demand review meetings.
  • Assess monthly stock levels at distributor sites.
  • Analyze, calculate, and update the safety stock level per distributor.
  • Analyze, calculate, and update the raw material buffer stock level on the system. Generate monthly S&OP inputs, an annual budget, and future resource needs.
  • Manage and oversee the Supply Plan's implementation within departments and across distributors.
  • Report and evaluate End to End SC performance based on set KPIs.
  • Create, plan, and implement the best operational policies and practices.
  • Analyze and develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Demand Planner Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or forecasting role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • High capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner is a plus
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferable Microsoft 365
  • Financial and analytical capabilities to plan budgets, monitor inventory, assess data, and create reports
  • Strong leadership and work ethic
  • In-depth knowledge and eye for detail
